Assistant Import & Export Manager

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree/HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, International Trade or a related discipline
• 3–5 years' relevant experience in import/export, freight forwarding, customs clearance, shipping or logistics operations
• Practical knowledge of Nigerian port and terminal operations
• Experience handling shipments through Tincan, Apapa and/or off-dock terminals
• Good understanding of import/export documentation and customs clearance procedures
• Experience coordinating haulage operations and truckers is highly desirable
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Strong communication, negotiation and coordination skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Experience working with shipping lines and terminal operators
• Hands-on experience with containerized cargo
• Experience coordinating customs clearance
• Experience managing demurrage/detention exposure
• Experience working with both company-owned and third-party trucks
• Knowledge of Nigerian Customs processes and relevant regulatory requirements
• Experience using logistics, freight-forwarding or shipment-tracking systems

Accounting Officer

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, supply chain, trading or a related industry
• Strong practical knowledge of bookkeeping and general accounting principles
• Demonstrable knowledge of Nigerian tax compliance and tax filing
• Good knowledge of VAT, WHT, PAYE and other applicable statutory obligations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail

Professional Qualifications

Membership or progress toward professional qualifications such as ICAN, ANAN, ACCA or equivalent will be an advantage.
